External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar was on a three-day visit to Singapore

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Friday met Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and discussed further strengthening the partnership between the two countries.

Shared interests and convergent views were helping the two sides to cooperate closely in a changing world, EAM Jaidhankar tweeted after the meeting.

Emerging from Covid, we work towards an even stronger partnership.

Our shared interests and convergent views help us cooperate closely in a changing world," Jaishankar said on Twitter.

He also called on Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong.

"Discussed the global situation and our bilateral relationship. Always appreciate his insights and guidance," tweeted Jaishankar.

He had ealrier met Singapore Finance Minister Lawrence Wong and exchanged views on the growth prospects of the two countries.

During his visit, EAM Jaishankar held productive discussions with Singapore's Foreign Minister Vivian Bala, Defence Minister Nh Eng Hen, and Minister of Home Affairs and Law K Shamugam.

He also held a meeting with Singapore’s Health Minister Ong Ye Kung and discussed the Covid-19 experience besides health security cooperation between the two countries.
